For grooming my Bouvier, I've found that being consistent is key, especially with their double coat. I brush him at least twice a week to keep it from matting. It can be a workout too, as they have a lot of fur! I also trim their beard to prevent food from getting stuck. Surprisingly, these dogs have a unique habit of 'talking' when you groom them, almost like they're giving their opinion on the whole process. It’s fun to see their personality come out during grooming.

Little and often works better than one marathon session. I do a quick brush before walks and a longer session once a week. My groomer told me to brush in sections, not top to bottom in a rush. Game changer.
