Pets
Q&A
answer · Newfoundland
I think Newfoundlands make great pets, but they need space and a lot of love. They are huge, so be prepared for that. If you have a big yard and can accommodate their size, they’ll be your best friend.
question · Newfoundland
Is anyone else's Newfie convinced personal space doesn't exist?
answer · Newfoundland
Without a doubt! My Newfie has surprised me a lot with his gentleness. Once, he found a tiny kitten and just laid down next to it, clearly being cautious. They truly embody the saying 'gentle giant'!
answer · Newfoundland
My Newfie loves to greet me at the door with his big paws and a gentle nuzzle. It totally makes my day!
answer · Newfoundland
Yes, mine loves swimming! It's like he was born for the water.
answer · Newfoundland
The biggest challenge with owning a Newfoundland is their size and shedding. They can be quite the mess with all that fur, especially during shedding season. Bathing them can also be quite a workout, given their bulk. But their gentle nature is worth it.
answer · Newfoundland
Absolutely! Newfoundlands are such loving companions. Their calm nature makes them great family pets, and I appreciate their loyalty. I love how they can be a bit goofy sometimes, which keeps us entertained. I can't imagine my life without my Newfie.
