I’d say go for it. My Treeing Tennessee Brindle has really benefitted. It’s like watching him switch on a lightbulb as he learns to use his nose for something other than chasing every squirrel in sight. Plus, it's a great workout for both of us.

For sure! My Coonhound is always off track, following her nose. It can be frustrating when I just want a quick walk. But seeing her so excited by every new scent is delightful.

My Treeing Walker Coonhound has a pretty reliable recall, but it took consistent training. They can get distracted easily, especially by scents, so I've worked hard to reinforce his recall through positive reinforcement. I love how they are naturally curious, and that enthusiasm makes training fun.
