Wow, that's funny! My Foxhound led me into a muddy puddle, and I had to laugh. He was just following his nose, and I ended up with soaked shoes!

Oh, absolutely! My English Foxhound can be incredibly stubborn when he’s tracking. There have been times when I’ve tried calling him back, and he just ignores me completely, completely absorbed in whatever scent he’s following. It’s part of their hunting instinct, I guess. I make sure to give him plenty of exercise beforehand to help manage his focus, but when he’s tracking, it’s a whole different ball game!
