Oh, absolutely! My English Foxhound can be incredibly stubborn when he’s tracking. There have been times when I’ve tried calling him back, and he just ignores me completely, completely absorbed in whatever scent he’s following. It’s part of their hunting instinct, I guess. I make sure to give him plenty of exercise beforehand to help manage his focus, but when he’s tracking, it’s a whole different ball game!

It can be quite the challenge to distract my English Foxhound once he gets on a scent. He has this laser focus that's impressive. Even the sound of a treat bag rustling isn't enough to pull him away when he's in full tracking mode. I’ve learned to let him do his thing, but it can be frustrating at times!
