Q&A
answer · Bouvier Des Flandres
Absolutely, the Bouvier des Flandres is a great dog. They are incredibly loyal and protective of their families.
answer · Bouvier Des Flandres
When guests arrive, my Bouvier can be quite the character. Initially, he acts as the protector, barking as if he’s ensuring everyone is safe. After a few minutes, he gets more curious. Once he’s sniffed around and realized they’re not a threat, he turns into a big goofball, wanting to play with them. It's interesting to see how their herding instinct comes into play; he loves to herd new people towards the living room. If I have treats on hand, he is even more welcoming, making friends in no time!
answer · Bouvier Des Flandres
One of my favorite grooming tips for my Bouvier des Flandres is to use a slicker brush. It really helps with the thick coat.

You are not imagining it. Ours acts like every small win deserves a parade. We have a running joke in the house that the dog thinks they run security, entertainment, and quality control. Still figuring it out like everyone else, Rohan.
question · Bouvier Des Flandres
I brushed my Bouvier this morning... somehow he still came home carrying half the backyard in his beard 😂 Anyone else?
