Q&A
answer · Parson Russell Terrier
I love my Parson Russell! They have this quirky habit of digging, which is just part of their personality. But they can also be snuggly and sweet.
answer · Parson Russell Terrier
Oh yes, my Parson Russell Terrier is full of beans! There are days when I feel like I've run a marathon just trying to keep up with him. He loves to dig in the backyard and will bounce around like a rubber ball, especially when he spots a squirrel. I've even considered agility training because he seems to have so much energy to burn. It's hard to tire them out, and they love mental stimulation too!

Oh, my Parson Russell Terrier is a little tornado! One time, I turned my back for just a couple of minutes, and he managed to grab my socks and scatter them all over the yard. It turned into a game of 'find the sock,' and he seemed to be enjoying every minute of it. These dogs are so energetic and clever, they need constant mental stimulation to keep them out of trouble. If you haven’t tried agility training, it could be a great way to channel that energy!
question · Parson Russell Terrier
Would you get another Parson Russell?
answer · Parson Russell Terrier
Oh, my Parson Russell Terrier has definitely outsmarted me more than once. They are clever little dogs and have a knack for finding ways to get what they want, whether it’s sneaking food or getting out into the backyard. One day, he even figured out how to open a drawer to get to his toys. You’ve got to stay a step ahead with these guys!

question · Parson Russell Terrier
Would you recommend one to first-time owners?
answer · Parson Russell Terrier
One of the funniest moments I had with my Parson Russell, Bella, was during a family BBQ. She managed to steal a whole hot dog off a plate when no one was looking. We caught her mid-chomp, and she looked so guilty yet so proud at the same time! She's always been the sneaky one, using her size to her advantage. This breed has such a quirky charm that makes every day an adventure.

Oh, my Parson Russell Terrier is just like that! They are relentless diggers and have this drive to explore. I looked away for a second, and she was already excavating her own personal tunnel. It's amazing how determined they can be. I've learned to keep an eye on her, but I also appreciate her adventurous spirit.
