I have to be cautious with my Parson Russell off-leash. They can be super obedient when focused, but their hunting instincts kick in fast. We’ve had some close calls where they took off after a rabbit, leaving me scrambling. Training recall commands has helped a lot, but I still prefer a fenced area.

I trust my dog with some freedom. They do love to explore, but I only let them run free in safe, enclosed spaces. Parson Russells can be a handful due to their energetic nature, and it’s crucial to ensure they’re well-trained first.

Not a chance! My Parson Russell gets way too distracted by scents and sounds. They’re friendly, but they just love to run off to investigate. Keeping them on a leash is the safest option for everyone.

I trust my Parson Russell off-leash in safe areas. They have a strong prey drive, so I keep an eye on them. When they're focused on something, it's hard to get their attention back. I've seen them dart after squirrels, and it worries me sometimes.

Not really, my Parson Russell is a bit too curious off-leash. They love to chase after anything that moves.
