My Neapolitan Mastiff, Bruno, has this adorable routine every morning. He gently nudges my hand with his nose to wake me up, then he settles beside me for a cuddle. It’s like he knows I need that little push to start the day. His giant, droopy face looks so sweet, especially when he tilts his head at me. Neapolitan Mastiffs are known for their affectionate nature, which really shows through in these moments. I can’t imagine starting my day without his warm presence.

My Neo, Goliath, looks tough with his massive size, but he's such a gentle giant. At the dog park, people often approach cautiously, but as soon as they pet him, they see his goofy side. He wags his tail and tries to climb into their laps, which gets everyone laughing. His demeanor just disarms everyone.

I’ve found that keeping walks short during hot weather is essential for my Neapolitan Mastiff. I plan them early or later in the day, and we make sure to keep it slow and steady.
