My Redbone Coonhound loves to roam and chase scents, so I don’t trust him off-leash. He'll follow his nose everywhere.

I can’t let my Redbone off-leash in most situations. They are great trackers and will take off if they catch a smell. I keep him leashed or in a secured area for his safety.

I tried letting my Redbone off-leash once, and he bolted after a squirrel! Now, I’m super cautious. I prefer to keep him leashed unless we’re in a fenced area.
