My Schapendoes does the same thing! I spend ages grooming him, only for him to jump into a muddy puddle right afterward. They have such a playful spirit and love being outdoors, which can definitely make the grooming process feel a bit pointless. I guess it’s just part of their charm. I had to learn to embrace the mess, as frustrating as it can be sometimes.

I know the feeling! My Schapendoes loves to roll in the grass right after I brush her. It's like she waits for the perfect moment to ruin my hard work. Their fluffy coats are beautiful but can be a challenge to maintain.
