Yes, I've heard similar advice. It makes sense to avoid repetitive stress on their joints.

I’ve heard that too. It’s good to give them different activities to keep them mentally stimulated. Pointers need a lot of exercise, so mixing it up could be beneficial for both physical and mental health. Hiking or swimming can be great alternatives.

I got the same advice from my vet regarding fetch. Pointer breeds are very active, but too much repetition can lead to injuries over time. I’ve started varying our playtime with other activities, and it’s fun to see him engage in new ways. Plus, it helps prevent boredom.

Yes, my vet mentioned the same thing. It’s important to balance their exercise with rest to prevent overdoing it. Pointers are high-energy, but rotating their activities can help keep their joints healthy and their minds engaged. I’ve started exploring new parks to change up our routine.

I've definitely heard that from my vet too. Limiting repetitive fetch can help protect their joints, especially since Pointers are naturally inclined to run and chase. Mixing up their activities can keep them engaged while being better for their health. Try incorporating some agility games or scent work to keep them stimulated!
