For sure! Gordon Setters are loving and excellent family dogs.

I highly recommend them! My Gordon Setter is incredibly affectionate and needs a lot of exercise, which is great because it means I get to be active too. They have such a laid-back disposition but are still very playful. Just be prepared for some grooming, as their beautiful coat needs regular maintenance.
