Mine gets anxious when I leave. I've tried crate training, and it helps a little but he still barks sometimes. King Charles Spaniels are quite social and need companionship. It's really important to make their alone time as positive as possible.

I found that leaving some interactive toys helps keep him occupied, but he still prefers to be with the family. I also started using a pet camera to check in on him, and it gives me peace of mind to see he’s not too distressed.
