Q&A
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
Yes, I recommend Rat Terriers. They are playful and can really lighten the mood.
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
Yes! My Jack Russell once circled the living room, then struck a pose by the door to go outside, even though he had just come in. He has a way of making me feel like he’s running the show.
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
Yes, mine does that too! It's like they think they're helping with yard work. I read that Rat Terriers have a natural instinct to dig from their hunting days, so it's something to embrace rather than fight against.
question · Jack Russell Terrier
Do you trust your Rat Terrier off leash?
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
Yes! Mine does the same. It's like they have a radar for food. I can't even turn around before my Rat Terrier has already snatched it up!
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
My Russell is friendly but can be a bit barky around new dogs. They've got a playful side, but their terrier instincts kick in if they feel threatened. Socialization is really important. I found that introducing them to other dogs in a controlled setting helps a lot. They can learn to play nicely after some initial barking. Just take it slow, and watch their body language.
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
My Russell has a thing for socks. Whenever I take mine off, he dives right in and tries to wear them. It's adorable and a little ridiculous!
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
Absolutely! My Russell Terrier is a creative little monster. He’s managed to turn his toys into whole new games. From hiding them to playing fetch with himself, it never gets boring. Their energy and cleverness are off the charts!
question · Jack Russell Terrier
Do you trust your Russell Terrier off leash?
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
I would recommend them if you have an active lifestyle.
answer · Jack Russell Terrier
Not really! My Rat just tears everything apart. The toughest toy I’ve seen so far is the Zogoflex toys. They're pretty sturdy and have survived longer than most.
