Bergamascos can be quite thoughtful when meeting new people. Mine usually watches and assesses whether they’re friendly before warming up, which is a nice trait.

My Bergamasco is a bit shy and prefers to observe newcomers before making their approach. It’s interesting to see them size up the situation before deciding to say hi.
