I usually let my Treeing Walker off leash at the park, but only in safe areas. They have a strong hunting instinct, so I keep a close watch to ensure they don’t wander off too far.

Letting my Treeing Walker off leash is always a calculated risk. They love to run and explore, and while they come back most times, I always have a treat ready to call them back if they get distracted by something interesting.

My Treeing Walker has a fantastic recall, but I still prefer to keep them on a long leash during walks. They have that hunting drive and will chase anything that moves. I want to avoid any surprises.
