I spent 15 minutes explaining to someone that my dog isn't a giant mop 😂 Does this happen to anyone else?

I know the feeling! My Komondor gets mistaken for a giant mop all the time, and I end up explaining the cords are a breed characteristic. It’s just part of owning such a unique breed; their appearance can really throw people off.

Oh, definitely! I had a similar experience explaining to someone that my Komondor is not a mop. The dreadlocks can be deceiving, but once people see his personality, they understand. I often get questions about grooming and how they manage to keep their cords clean.

Yes! It's an ongoing joke. People are baffled when they first see my Komondor. They often come up to me asking if I’ve accidentally brought a mop outside. Their unique look really does draw attention.
