I totally relate to that! Norwegian Elkhounds are known for their strong senses, and it's impressive how they pick up on sounds and movements. My dog alerts me to all kinds of noises outside, sometimes even before I notice them. It definitely keeps us on our toes! Just be ready for some barking, as they like to let you know something is up.

My Norwegian Elkhound is exactly the same! They have such keen senses and seem to hear things I can't even detect. It's like they have a sixth sense for any activity outside, whether it's a squirrel or a person walking by. I think it's part of their natural instincts as hunting dogs. It can be a bit annoying sometimes, especially when they bark at nothing, but it's just them being alert.

Yep, mine can hear things long before I do!
