Swedish Vallhunds are fantastic little dogs. They’re great for first-time owners since they adapt well to various living situations. Plus, their playful nature makes them fun companions. They do have a tendency to bark, so early training on that front is helpful.

I definitely recommend a Swedish Vallhund! They are smart, loyal, and generally very friendly. They have a strong herding instinct, which means they can be a bit mischievous if not given enough to do. I’ve found that they love being active and excel in activities like agility training. They do well in homes where they can have plenty of stimulation and interaction.
