The funniest thing my Lancashire Heeler did was when he tried to dig a hole in the living room carpet. He was so determined, but there was nothing to dig! I couldn’t stop laughing. They are such spirited little dogs, always full of energy and mischief.

My Lancashire Heeler is pretty cautious around new people. She will usually bark a little at first, then sniff them out. Once she feels comfortable, she can be very affectionate. I think it's a typical Heeler trait to be protective of their family. After a few minutes, she’s all about the attention.
