I thought I would brush my Afghan Hound daily, but life happens. I usually manage it every other day, and sometimes once a week if I'm swamped. The tangles can become a real issue if I miss too many days, but it's also a nice bonding activity for us.

If I’m honest, I brush my Afghan whenever I remember, which is more like twice a week. It’s tough to keep up with their grooming needs when life gets busy.

I've also learned that the longer you wait, the harder it is to get through those mats. Regular grooming sessions keep both of us happy.
