Yes! Daily brushing is definitely more manageable.

Daily brushing has made a huge difference for us. It helps prevent those painful mats in our Afghan Hound's long hair.

I've found that brushing my Afghan Hound for just 10 minutes each day really keeps his coat looking great. It also gives us bonding time. I even play a little game of 'find the treat' by hiding kibble in his fur as I brush. I think it keeps him more engaged. The key is to start slowly, so he gets used to the routine.

Brushing a little each day has become a part of our routine. I set a timer for 15 minutes so it stays short and sweet. My Afghan Hound seems to appreciate it, and it cuts down on excess shedding. Plus, it keeps his coat healthy and shiny, reducing the need for long grooming sessions. I also use this special rake that works wonders on his undercoat. You can find it at a pet store or online.

Totally agree, little bits each day work better.

I brush my Afghan Hound every evening while watching TV. It makes both of us relaxed, and he doesn’t seem to mind at all.
