My Foxhound is amazing with my kids. They play and run together all the time!

My American Foxhound loves children. He’s naturally friendly and tends to be quite gentle, never showing signs of aggression. They have a playful nature and enjoy running around, which keeps the kids entertained. However, I always supervise their interactions, just to be safe. Foxhounds are also known for their stubbornness, so consistent training is essential, especially with young ones around. It helps if kids are taught how to interact calmly with dogs.

Our Foxhound is great with kids! He follows them around the yard and loves to play fetch. It’s interesting to see how he can be so gentle, even when he gets excited. Just make sure they know not to tease him when he’s resting or eating. He has a strong prey drive, so keeping an eye on their playtime is key.
